      <image:title>Work - Fiery tête-à-tête</image:title>
<image:caption>is a hand-cut wooden bench by Philadelphia-based artist Libby Rosa. Inspired by Victorian-era conversation chairs commonly used for courting and gossip, Rosa’s reinterpretation of this furniture genre is a bench with enlarged matchstick feet and flame lick features. Lovers, friends, and strangers can sit and converse, enveloped in the flames. This piece speaks to the complacent behavior of humans in the destruction of the world around them while also symbolizing a humorous and hopeful outlook: even amid destruction, love and connection endure.</image:caption>
